What PNG to PDF does

PNG to PDF turns one or more images into a single PDF, on your own computer. Each image becomes an A4 page of its own, sized so it fills the page without being stretched, and the pages are joined in the order you set.

It accepts more than PNG. JPG and WebP work exactly the same way, so a folder of mixed screenshots and photos becomes one document without being converted twice.

The images are embedded rather than re-encoded, so a PNG stays a PNG inside the file, with the pixels it went in with. Nothing is compressed behind your back: if you want the result smaller, run it through Compress PDF afterwards and decide the trade-off yourself.

How to convert images to PDF

Add your images. PNG, JPG and WebP all work, and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Arrange the pages. You can reorder them, and you can move, resize or place several images on the same page if you would rather compose than list.
Check the preview: portrait images get a portrait page, landscape ones a landscape page.
Download the PDF. It carries the suffix _converted.

How the pages are built

The rules are simple and there is nothing to configure, which is deliberate: the point of this tool is to be finished in ten seconds.

One A4 page per image by default, portrait or landscape depending on the shape of the image.
The image is scaled to fit its page keeping its proportions, so nothing is stretched or cropped.
The resolution recorded in the image is honoured, so a screenshot at 144 dots per inch is placed at the size it was meant to be, not blown up to fill the sheet.
The orientation flag that phone cameras write into a JPG is read and applied, which is what stops holiday photos coming out sideways.
If you prefer several images on one page, the composer lets you place and size them freely instead of taking one page each.
The images are embedded as they are. A PNG stays lossless; nothing is re-encoded to JPEG on the way in.

Privacy: the conversion happens in your browser

The images are read and the PDF built inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, no image is sent anywhere to be processed, and no third-party script is loaded.

Images are the files people upload most carelessly and regret most often: a photo of an identity document, a screenshot of a bank app, a picture of a payslip. None of them leave your device here.

Is converting images to PDF free?

Yes, completely, with no account and no watermark, and there is no cap on how many images you combine into a document.

Can I use JPG or WebP as well as PNG?

Yes. All three are accepted and can be mixed in the same document.

Do the images lose quality?

No. They are embedded as they are, so a PNG stays lossless and nothing is re-encoded. If the resulting PDF is too heavy, compress it afterwards and choose the level yourself.

Will my photos come out sideways?
