Remove blank pages inspects every page of a PDF, measures how much visible ink and text it contains, and proposes the pages that look empty or nearly empty. You see each candidate as a preview with a reason and a confidence level, tick the ones you agree with, and download a new PDF without them. The original file is never touched.
The typical source of blank pages is duplex scanning: every single-sided sheet leaves an empty back, and a fifty page scan can carry a dozen of them. Separator sheets, pages that only show a page number and the last page of a fax also end up in the same bucket. Detection runs on your computer, so a thick scan does not have to be uploaded anywhere to be cleaned.
Each page is drawn on a white canvas, a small margin around the edge is ignored so scanner noise does not count, and the proportion of dark pixels is compared with a threshold that depends on the sensitivity you chose. The text layer is checked too, and any page with a comment, stamp or other annotation is kept automatically. Rendering, measuring and rebuilding the PDF happen inside your browser tab with the PDF engine bundled in OléPDF. The document is not uploaded, the page previews are generated locally and discarded when you close the tool, and no third-party script is loaded. The only thing downloaded is OléPDF's own code from its own domain.

Start with Balanced. If nearly empty scans with a bit of noise are being missed, switch to Aggressive, which also proposes pages that contain nothing but a page number. Use Conservative when the document has light content you are afraid of losing.
It can, if the signature is faint enough. Such pages usually appear with low confidence and are left unselected, but you should still check every preview before removing.
