Frequently asked questions

Can I see the file size before downloading?

Yes. The preview shows the real weight the file will have as you move the quality slider, so you do not have to download it to find out.

How many photos can I convert at once?

It takes batches of up to a hundred photos and hands them back together in a ZIP.

What happens to transparency when I save as JPG?

JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP to keep it.

Does it reduce the dimensions too?

Yes. You can set a maximum size in pixels on top of the compression quality.
